In addition to the hands-on learning experiences, residents participate in several didactic conferences. These education conferences are an important part of the training experience and are held daily.

Morning report is convened Monday thru Friday and is conducted by the Chief Medical Resident. Students Interns, Residents, and Attending actively participate. Two cases from the inpatient ward teams are presented and discussed.

Noon conference is held each day except Wednesday when there is Grand Rounds form 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm. The conference topics cover al medical sub-specialties and general internal medicine. These lectures are presented by a Morehouse School of Medicine member or guest lecturer.
